Adarsh Gourav, who was featured in the 2023 Netflix comedy-drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, shared his favourite scene from the film. It is the song sequence, I Wanna See You Dance, where Adarsh shook a leg with his co-stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. On Monday, the makers of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan dropped a video on Instagram from their Off The Record series. Here, Adarsh can be heard talking about the particular scene. Adarsh Gourav said, “My favourite scene from Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is actually the song I Wanna See You Dance. Especially because I was so nervous before filming it. I pulled Arjun (director Arjun Varain Singh) aside a few days before we had to film and I was like, ‘Dude, why are you doing this to me?’ He said, ‘Trust me, This is going to be fun. The choreography is modern, it is contemporary and you will enjoy it.’ And I was so surprised by how light he was. I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed myself learning the steps and getting them right.”Spilling another anecdote, Adarsh Gourav said, “And when the day came, Ananya and I both made a terrible decision of going for black coffee disguised as vodka shots and we both felt sick. The shoot had to be called off for two days.”“We got back two days later and we filmed the song and it was so much fun. I remember the one instruction they gave me was that it does not matter if the steps are finessed but just do it with a smile on your face. Just like smile through it. And that was the best advice I received. I had so much fun doing it. I had a blast. Also, the song is one of the best songs from the album. And yeah, that got to be my favourite experience from the film,” concluded Adarsh Gourav. Arjun Varain Singh made his directorial debut with Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The coming-of-age movie revolves around three school friends who navigate through friendship, love and heartbreak in this digital era.
