FIR lodged against 5 people including Lady SHO who helped drug smuggler

Moga police has filed a case against 5 people including a SHO for helping drug smugglers.The SHO has been identified as Inspector Arshpreet Kaur Grewal while the other culprits have been identified as Senior Constables Gurpreet Singh, Rajpal Singh, Manpreet Singh and Gurpreet Singh.According to the information received from the police, on October 01, 2024 a case was registered against Amarjeet Singh, son of Harbhajan Singh, resident of Dantewala Road Kot Ise Khan, along with two kilograms of opium, at police station Kot Ise Khan.Along with this, his brother Manpreet Singh and his son Gurpreet Singh were also arrested along with 3 kg of opium.But on the other hand, the female inspector, along with her fellow employees, left them in exchange for money.
The accused finalized the deal through private persons for Rs 8 lakh. The SHO received Rs 5 lakh as the first amount. But SHO acts smartly and registered the case only against Amarjeet, whereas after taking the money, Manpreet and Gurpreet were released from the spot. After receiving the complaint, the higher officials arrested the female SHO and her fellow employees.
