Three-year-old found in towed car taken from Texas nightclub ‘while mom danced inside’

A three-year-old child has been found inside a car that was towed from outside a nightclub in which his mother was partying, police say.  Brandy Rachelle Brown, 29, was reveling at Greenwood Lounge in Houston, according to Click 2 Houston. She was arrested around 12:30am on Monday for endangering a child after the tow company had removed her car and found her son sleeping in the backseat, Law & Crime reported. She has since been released on a $7,500 bond. The tow truck driver discovered the child after driving Brown’s Acura down the block to secure it. After attempting to secure it to his truck, he noticed the child in the back seat and called 911, according to Law & Crime. The child had been in the car for ‘at least 28 minutes while she went to a club,’ court documents, viewed by Law & Crime, stated.  Brandy Rachelle Brown, 29, was partying in at Greenwood Lounge in Houston while her illegally parked vehicle with a three-year-old inside was being towed  The mother-of-two had gone into the bar to party while her child slept in the car She was arrested around 12:30am on Monday for endangering a child after claims that a tow company had removed her car and found her son sleeping in the back seatShe has been accused of leaving her son in ‘imminent danger.’ The child was evaluated by medical personnel and was found to be healthy and released to a family member, according to Fox 26 Houston. In February, Brown, whose license is currently suspended, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and pleaded guilty to the Class B misdemeanor, receiving three days in county jail, according to Fox 26.Over the summer another Texas mother, Destiny Morales, was taken into custody on charges of child abandonment with intent to return. She was alleged to have gone into Sam’s Club in Harris County to pick up pizza while leaving her children unattended for 40 minutes. The temperatures were in the mid-90s and witnesses called police to inform them that the children were inside the car. Morales told Fox26 Houston that she ‘would never harm’ her children and felt like what was reported was the ‘opposite of what happened,’ but also admitted that she ‘did mess up’ and felt remorse.  She has been accused of leaving her son in ‘imminent danger.’ The child was evaluated by medical personnel and was found to be healthy and released to a family member In February, Brown, whose license is currently suspended, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and pleaded guilty to the Class B misdemeanor, receiving three days in county jail She has since been released on a $7,500 bondMorales told authorities she was only in the store for 30 minutes, but during the investigation police said the time was closer to 46 minutes.The young mother said the AC was on and told them her children were not locked inside the vehicle, Fox5 reported.When police arrived they discovered that the air conditioning was on in the vehicle, but said the vents were blowing out warm air rather than cool air on the scorching day.After Morales ordered the pizza and walked outside she saw that her children were already outside the car.She saw some of the store employees looking after her children and she was arrested shortly after.
