Email tips@mailonline.co.uk Emergency services have swarmed a UK nuclear submarine shipyard after reports of a fire.Footage online shows smoke billowing from BAE Systems in Barrow, as locals say the building has gone up in flames.Shocking snaps appeared to show a blaze burning inside the massive warehouse, thought to be currently being used to build a sub for the Royal Navy.Locals on social media claimed they had been evacuated as a result of the incident. Fire crews were said to have been raced to the Devonshire Dock Hall not long after midnight. There are reports a fire has broken out at BAE Systems in Barrow Smoke can be seen billowing from the warehouse, which is used as a nuclear submarine shipyardThe site has made all but three of the UK’s nuclear submarines. HMS Agincourt, an Astute-class nuclear-powered fleet submarine under construction for the Royal Navy, is understood to be currently being build at the site.
