Punjab to continue its zero tolerance policy towards corruption : Mann

In a bid to promote transparency, accountability, probity and integrity in the society, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) will observe the annual Vigilance Awareness Week from 28th October to 3rd November in the state to sensitize citizens and public servants about administration free of corrupt practices.
On the occasion Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has reiterated that Punjab Government would continue its zero tolerance policy towards corruption and vows to deal with it with an iron hand.
He stated that corruption is as dangerous as a heinous crime committed against the integrity and dignity of a state and its citizens whether committed by service providers or seekers.
Punjab CM said “It is my dream to see a corruption-free Punjab with everlasting development of private and public sector bringing and maintaining smiles on the faces of the people, especially the youth of Punjab”. He appealed to the public to cooperate with the government in its anti corruption campaign for providing corruption free administration in the state.
