Kang questions Warring: you mean that Jathedar is working at the behest of the BJP and Sukhbir Badal?
Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, October 26-
The AAP Punjab has strongly condemned the controversial statements made by Congress President Raja Warring regarding the Jathedar. MP & AAP Sr. spoksperson Malvinder Kang questioned Warring, asking if he meant that the Jathedar is working under the direction of the BJP and Sukhbir Badal.
Kang referred to Warring’s statement in which he said, “The Jathedar of Akal Takht is working according to a script written by the Badal family. The Badal family is not contesting elections themselves to help the BJP win because the BJP’s candidate is Manpreet Badal.”
He stated that although Warring has apologized, his statement raises serious questions about the Congress party’s intentions. He said that the Congress has a history of attacking Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the Golden Temple. Kang added that he wants to inform the people of Punjab that the Akali Dal Badal, Congress, and BJP have all worked against the Sikh community and have ruled Punjab together for decades.
