Sarah Jessica Parker made a ‘childless cat lady’ quip on Wednesday as she revealed who she was voting for in the US presidential election next month.The Sex and the City star, 59, who is currently filming season three of spin-off And Just Like That…, took to Instagram to announce she is endorsing Democratic Party  candidate Kamala Harris and vice presidential nominee Tim Walz.Posting a photo with her pet cat and while holding up a Harris Waltz placard in her window in NYC, she wrote:  ‘For the love of my country, for our public schools, for books, for common sense gun laws’For a living wage, For opportunity, For women, For voting rights, For the Dreamers, For arts and culture, For my mother and senior citizensFor our military, past and currently serving, For the climate, For hope, For friends and loved ones in the LGBTQ+ community In real life SJP has endorsed Democrat candidate Kamala Harris for the US presidential election – but turned off the comments on her post after receiving backlash ‘For freedom, For science, For affordable healthcare’For our union members, For democracy, For my daughters, For my son, For all of our children’For equality, For dignity, For hope, For the constitution, For me, For love, For choice.’Referencing her onscreen character Carrie Bradshaw and Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance’s viral comments about prominent Democrats being ‘childless cat ladies’ she continued: ”And for a certain childless cat lady I play on TV, With an abundance of joy, optimism and pride’I am voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, X, SJ.’However the star was forced to turn the comments off on her post after receiving backlash for her choice. Harris was recently endorsed by superstar rapper Eminem – but his fans were left furious after the rapper voiced his support alongside former President Barack Obama in Detroit.At a campaign event in his home city, 52-year-old Slim Shady came onstage and took a subtle swipe at Donald Trump – expressing his support for Harris and saying she wouldn’t be out for ‘retribution’. Many such cases.’On Wednesday Harris unleashed a scathing attack on her Republican rival Donald Trump, warning he would be another Adolf Hitler if he wins a second term in the White House.Standing outside her home at the U.S. Naval Observatory, Harris cited an interview Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly gave to the New York Times where he said Trump often spoke admirably of Hitler when he was in the White House.’It is deeply troubling and incredibly dangerous that Donald Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler – the man who is responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews,’ Harris said.  Harris indicated Donald Trump would act like a dictator if he wins in November’Donald Trump is increasingly unhinged and unstable and, in a second term, people like John Kelly would not be there to be the guard rails against his propensities and his actions,’ she added. ‘So the bottom line is this, we know what Donald Trump wants. He wants unchecked power. The question in 13 days will be, what do the American people want?’A Trump campaign spokesperson hit back at Kelly’s claims in a statement to The Times, saying the former political advisor ‘has totally beclowned himself with these debunked stories he has fabricated’.
