Nick Knowles became the third star to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after he and Luba Mushtuk lost the dance-off to Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu. Both couples performed their routines again; Shayne and Nancy performed their Cha Cha to Ain’t No Love (Ain’t No Use) by Sub Sub feat. I think you did more than your best. Thank you.’When asked by Tess about his partner Luba, Nick shared: ‘Luba’s been amazing and just been so fabulous every day. ‘And I should say thank you also to all the background staff, the physios, all the people that have actually got me through this week, and to all of my fellow competitors who have been absolutely astounding, beautiful people. ‘There are some amazing dancers up there, and I will love watching the rest of the series.’ Shayne and Nancy performed their Cha Cha to Ain’t No Love (Ain’t No Use) by Sub Sub feat. Melanie Williams and secured their place in next week’s show Nick told the judges that it was right he was in the dance off because he wasn’t up to scratch The presenter told the judges that there were some fantastic dancers and he wasn’t one of them but that he had tried his hardest After Nick was announced as one of the dancer’s performing again for his place, he told Tess that it was the right decision for him to dance again.He told the host: ‘Its kind of right.’There are some fantastic dancers here and I wasn’t up to scratch for whatever reason.’Craig Revel-Horwood then gave Craig some advance ahead of his second performance.He told the DIY SOS star to not care about the dance and throw himself in to it.He said: ‘ You just need to work on the ideas in a more extreme fashion.’Don’t really care about the dance – the Charleston is like that, just throw yourself in to it.’Nick agreed before adding it was crunch time, telling Tess it was a case of ‘go well or go home’ before adding he would try to throw himself in to his performance.  Nick told  the hosts it was crunch time before he took to the floor for the last time, telling Tess it was a case of ‘go well or go home’  Craig told the TV presenter it was the best he’d seen him perform, saying: ‘You totally threw caution tot he wind and that’s the best I’ve seen you dance.’But despite Nick’s performance it wasn’t enough to save him.Craig told Tess that he wanted to save Shayne  and Nancy before complimenting the TV presenter, telling him: ‘You totally threw caution tot he wind and that’s the best I’ve seen you dance.’Anton Du Beke echoed Craig’s evaluation, telling the reality show presenter that both couples upped their game in the final moment and that it was one of Nick’s best performances. But it was the end of the road for Nick’s tumultuous time on the show and during his final dance with  Luba, the other stars took to the floor to say goodbye.The whirlwind results show also featured a special routine from our fabulous professional dancers to Taylor Swift’s ‘Wildest Dreams’, choreographed by Mandy Moore and starring Nikita Kuzmin and Karen Hauer as the leads.There was also a performance of ‘Everything’s Here’ and ‘Nothing’s Lost’ from Snow Patrol.
