Urgent hunt is launched for mother, 34, who vanished three days ago as police search river

Police are urgently searching for a missing mother who vanished three days ago – with divers now scouring a river.  Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen at an address in Malton, North Yorkshire, at 9am on Monday.In a desperate appeal for the public to her, her sister wrote on social media: ‘My beautiful sister, please come home, Vicki.’Ms Taylor is described as white, approximately 5ft 6in in height.She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black Adidas original puffa jacket with white stripes down the sleeves and a grey Jack Wills hooded jumper.  Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen at an address in Malton, North Yorkshire, at 9am on Monday Searches of the riverbank in Malton are being carried out by specialist police divers  A major operation is currently underway to try and find missing mother Victoria Taylor North Yorkshire Police said today that members of the public should expect to see an increased police presence in Malton.They added that searches of the riverbanks would be carried out by their specialist underwater search team. Inspector Leanne Anderson said: ‘There are a range of enquiries taking place to try and locate Victoria. This is still a missing person enquiry, and the focus of our activity is within the Malton / Norton area.’Extensive searches will take place today and I would urge members of the public in the Malton / Norton areas to remain vigilant and report sightings or pass information to police immediately on 101 or 999.’Malton is a market town on the River Derwent with a population of just under 5,000.
