Medical staff rushed to the aid of Luton midfielder Tahith Chong, who collapsed on the pitch during his side’s Championship clash at Plymouth. The former Manchester youngster was immobile on the edge of the penalty area just before the half-time interval. The 24-year-old quickly seen to, with a stretcher brought onto the field. However, fortunately, Chong was quickly seen back on his feet and was able to walk back to the visitor’s dressing room. According to The Sun, Chong was said to have had a large lump on the left side of his forehead following a collision. He replaced at the break by Jacob Brown. ‘Great to see Tahith Chong walking off following treatment, after he went down towards the end of the first half.’ A post from Plymouth’s X account read. Chong joined Luton from Birmingham last summer and made 38 appearances for Rob Edwards’ side as they were relegate from the Premier League. He netted five times in all competitions last term. The versatile midfielder began his career at Old Trafford, where he made five appearances for the first team.
