The Liverpool fan who died in Italy after travelling to watch his club in the Champions League has been pictured.Philip Joseph Dooley, 51, from Liverpool, died after he was hit by a car while crossing a motorway in Bergamo at 1am on Tuesday, Merseyside Police said.The lifelong Liverpool supporter had travelled to Italy for the club’s opening Champions League game on Tuesday night. In tribute, representatives from Liverpool and AC Milan laid a bouquet of flowers on the seat he had been due to sit in at the San Siro. He reportedly made it across three lanes before he was hit by a car. Police are also investigating if the fan was ‘in an altered psychophysical state that may have influenced his actions’.Liverpool came from behind on Tuesday night to beat Milan 3-1 thanks to goals from Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, and Dominik Szoboszlai.
