 Bains greets teachers on National Teachers Day

The Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has extended warm greetings to the teaching fraternity on the eve of National Teachers’ Day, urging them to make all out efforts to inculcate the noble qualities of discipline, righteousness, honesty, integrity, dedication and good conduct in the students to enable them to become an ideal citizens of the society.
In a message issued here today, Bains said that this magnificent day coincides with the birth anniversary of former President of India late Dr. Sarvpalli Radha Krishnan an eminent academician, statesman and a great philosopher whose contribution in various fields especially in revamping the education system was unprecedented.
While citing Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar say, “Education is what makes a person fearless, teaches him the lesson of unity, makes him aware of his rights and inspires him to struggle for his rights.” and former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam utterance, “Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual”,
