The importance of seeing your idols: Graphic reveals how Oasis fans face paying more to see Gallaghers reunite at Wembley than for Taylor Swift… but it’s cheaper than seeing Adele in Munich

They are the hottest tickets in town, and they’ve got a price tag to match – with it costing a whopping £151 to stand at the Oasis reunion tour.And for older fans who can’t handle two hours on their feet, seated tickets start at £73, rising to a hefty £205.There is also a selection of luxury packages available for Oasis devotees with deep pockets, ranging from £216 to £506. These include merchandise items plus access to a pre-show party and a private Oasis exhibition.In comparison, the most expensive standing tickets for recent concerts at Wembley by Taylor Swift cost £172. Meanwhile, standing tickets to Adele’s shows in Munich this month cost £350. A pre-sale was due to kick off today for Oasis fans who got lucky in a pre-drawn ballot.The general sale starts at 9am tomorrow, with a total of 1,066,888 tickets available which are predicted to sell out within minutes. However, some fans were left disappointed on Wednesday after the band ruled themselves out of headlining Glastonbury Festival.
